PALMERSTON – The Norwell District Secondary School Junior Varsity Reds competed in a six-team tournament on April 17 in Lucknow. The Reds opened with a convincing 6-0 win over Listowel.

In the second game, Norwell defeated FE Madill from Wingham 3-1.

In the championship game, the Reds defeated Kincardine 2-1 in a shootout to claim the tournament championship.

Scoring for Norwell were Cody F., Levi K., and Jax M. with a pair each.

Single goals went to Luke P., Ashton E., EJ K., Trent W. and Ben R. The goaltending tandem of Ethan C. and Jayden V. was solid, stated officials.
