NDSS students recognized at commencement
Ebbony Moroz, right, accepted the Minto Arts Council Scholarship from Eleanor Butt from the Minto Arts Council. The scholarship was created to recognize the significant efforts and accomplishments of a student who is active in the arts, both at Norwell and in the community. The Drayton Kinsmen Bursary was presented to two students, one being Moroz, for her high ideals and strong community involvement, and her knowledge about the Kinsman Organization. Moroz was also one of the recipients of the Theatre Norwell Award and the Optimist Club Award. Submitted photo

PALMERSTON – The Norwell District Secondary School commencement ceremony for the graduating class of 2025 was held at the school on June 13.

The graduating class of 162 students was celebrated and recognized for its hard work and dedication, and awards were presented.

Tavis McCulloch was presented with the Palmerston Lions Club award for his exemplary service in the community. McCulloch was also one of the recipients of the SHSM Recognition Award, presented to students who have excelled in the Specialist High Skills Major program. Submitted photo
