Knit shop - A new shop opened on St. Andrew St. in Fergus on Oct. 1 to the delight of knitters. The new business, called String Theory Yarn Shop, carries wool and Alpaca wool products. Owner Miranda Holmes said this has been her lifelong dream and it was a whirlwind to get it open so quickly. During the COVID-19 pandemic more people are moving towards individual activities, including knitting. In the future Holmes hopes to have instructions on how to knit for men and women.
