One person sent to hospital after serious two-vehicle crash
CENTRE WELLINGTON – One person was taken to a trauma centre following a serious two-vehicle crash here early on Monday morning.
Emergency crews were dispatched to the intersection of Wellington Road 16 and Sideroad 20, west of Belwood, at about 5am on Sept. 22.
Wellington County OPP officials say the collision involved a tractor-trailer and a pickup truck.
“The driver in the pickup truck sustained serious-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a trauma centre,” police stated in a press release.
The intersection will be closed for the next several hours.
