Ontario Cheese Festival draws over 1,500 people to Elora

ELORA - The Ontario Cheese Festival drew more than 1,500 to Elora’s GrandWay Events Centre, where around 70 vendors showcased their cheese, wine and spirits on Oct. 25. The Great Canadian Cheese Festival split in two between its original Ottawa hometown and Elora this year. Cheese festival director Patricia McDermott said it was the right move brining the festival to an area with a large dairy presence.
