OOSTERVELD, Tim

Of Palmerton passed away peacefully after a valiant battle with cancer on Thursday, July 20, 2023 in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of Cathy (Noble) for 53 years. Cherished father of Candace and Neil Downey of Toronto, Kevin and Denise Oosterveld of Woodstock and Matthew and Nidya Oosterveld of Kitchener. Dear grandfather of William, James, Lucas, Emily and Lily. Brother of Gordon and Ann Oosterveld of Drayton, Albert and Pat Oosterveld of Turner Valley Alberta, Peter and Christine Oosterveld of Drayton, Martin and Bernice Oosterveld of Collingwood, Henry and Beverly Oosterveld of Sequim, Washington, Trudy and Paul Basile of Montreal Quebec. Brother-in-law of Brian and Mary Noble and Audrey and Allan Toner all of Palmerston. Predeceased by his parents Martin and Hendrikje Oosterveld and sister Joanne Romkes. To honour Tim’s wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service of Remembrance was held in the James Street United Church, Palmerston on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at 2:00pm.  Interment in Palmerston Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Palmerston Hospital Foundation or the Grand River Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family.
