Passenger dead following serious single-vehicle crash
CENTRE WELLINGTON - Emergency services responded to a collision on Aug. 1 which saw four people transported to hospitals and a driver charged after a Kitchener man was pronounced dead at the scene.

GUELPH-ERAMOSA – Police are investigating a serious crash here on Sunday afternoon that resulted in the death of a passenger and sent two others to hospital.

On Feb. 7 at about 3pm, emergency crews responded to a single-vehicle collision on Speedvale Avenue east of Wellington Road 32 in Guelph-Eramosa.

Wellington County OPP officials say a passenger vehicle travelling east on Speedvale Avenue "left the roadway, rolled over, and collided with a tree.

A male passenger was pronounced deceased at the scene and "two other occupants were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries," police stated.

Police later identified the dead passenger as Bernon Baltar Baldonasa, 40, of Guelph.

Speedvale Avenue remains was closed for three hours between Wellington Road 32 and Elmira Road North for the investigation.

Police are asking anyone that may have witnessed the collision to call 1-888-310-1122.
