Pedestrian bridge closed

WELLINGTON NORTH – The Wells Street West pedestrian bridge, located at the westerly limits of Wells Street West in Arthur, is closed indefinitely according to a June 14 notice from Wellington North township.

The closure is because of “deterioration and safety concerns,” according to the notice.

Assessment needed

“It will be closed until a bridge assessment can be completed to determine the next steps.”
