MINTO – The Réseau Supporting Performing Arts in Rural and Remote Communities (SPARC) Network held its biennial symposium in Minto from May 23 to 26.

SPARC’s mandate is to provide networking and knowledge-sharing opportunities for individuals, groups and organizations that make the performing arts happen in rural and remote areas.

The conference brought people to Minto from across Ontario to participate in workshops, seminars, tours and activities in local venues including the Palmerston Community Centre, Violets in The Barn, Minto Art Gallery, Crown Cultural Centre and Harriston Town Hall Theatre.
