Perth Wellington candidates meetings set for Alma, Minto

PERTH-WELLINGTON - Voters in this riding will have a chance to learn about their candidates in the June 2 provincial election at two upcoming candidates meetings.

The Alma Optimist Club is hosting an in-person all-candidates meeting for Perth-Wellington candidates on May 31 at 7pm at the Alma Community Centre.

The Mount Forest, Mapleton and Minto Chambers of Commerce, along with 88.7 The River, are hosting an in-person candidates debate at Pike Lake Golf Centre in Minto on May 24 from 6 to 8pm.

Seating is limited for the Pike Lake debate so attendees are asked to register in advance through Eventbrite under Perth-Wellington Provincial Election Debate.

Questions for candidates can be submitted in advance when registering.

Riding candidates are:

- Laura Bisutti of the Green Party;

- Jo-Dee Burbach of the NDP;

- Ashley Fox of the Liberal Party;

- Bob Hosken of the New Blue party;

- Sandy MacGregor of the Ontario Party;

- Matthew Rae of the Progressive Conservative Party; and

- Robby Smink of the Freedom Party.
