Police beat: Three men charged in break-in, theft in North Perth

NORTH PERTH - On Dec. 9 at about 12:50pm North Perth OPP officers were dispatched to a suspicious vehicle complaint on Road 164, southwest of Palmerston.

“When officers arrived, they observed three males in a pickup truck that was stuck in the mud,” police stated in a press release.

“Further investigation revealed evidence of a break, enter and theft to the property and all three parties were arrested.”

Charged with break and enter and theft were: John Garett Winer, 33, of Guelph; Ryan Jacob Robert Amaral, 30, of former Nichol Township; and Stephan Piche, 31, of Guelph.

Piche is also charged with failing to comply with a probation order.

All three are to appear in court on  Jan. 13.
