Police investigating after pedestrian struck by transport truck
GUELPH/ERAMOSA – A pedestrian was sent to hospital with life-threatening injuries after being hit by a transport truck early on Tuesday morning.
Emergency crews responded to the scene, on Wellington Road 124 just east of Wellington Road 29, on July 22 at about 5am.
"The pedestrian was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries," stated a Wellington County OPP press release.
"The OPP Traffic Incident Management Enforcement (TIME) team has been contacted and will be assisting with the investigation."
Wellington Road 124 was closed between Wellington Roads 29 and 27 for several hours.
