Police seek help to locate missing Wellington North man

WELLINGTON NORTH – Police are looking for help to locate a Wellington North man who has been missing for up to 18 days.

Wellington County OPP officers responded to a report of a missing person on Nov. 25 at a home on Side Road 5 East, between Kenilworth and Mount Forest, in Wellington North.

Police say Levi Edward Larter, 30, was last seen at his home on the evening of Nov. 8.

"Family and police are concerned for his safety and well-being," police stated in a Nov. 26 press release.

Larter is described as a white male, 5'11", 200 pounds, with blue eyes, brown hair and a full beard.

He was last seen wearing grey fall coat with a fur trimmed collar, grey track pants, and black running shoes.

Police say Larter, who may be carrying a blue and white backpack, is known to visit parks, conservation areas and the City of Guelph.
