PORTER, Elaine

Peacefully on Monday November 7th, 2022 at the Brampton Civic Hospital. Elaine in her 84th year, beloved wife of the late Owen Porter. Loving mother of Leonard Porter, Angela (Mike) Sarabusky, Joey Porter and Judy (Mark) Galloway.  Dear sister of Inez (Wayne) Johnson, Louise Myette, Gerrard (Bonnie) DeCoste, Jean (Rod) Campbell, Ralph DeCoste, Andy (Madonna) DeCoste, and the late Karen DeCoste and Anne (Bernie) Purcell. Proud Nana of Sarah Porter, Kathryn (Ryan) Schwarm, Carolyn (Nick) Calvano, Lisa (Colin) Meincke, Justina (Justin) Howe, Marie Sarabusky, Matthew (Melanie) Galloway and Michael Galloway. Great nana to 15 great grandchildren. Friends were received at the Jones Funeral Home (11582 Trafalgar Rd. Georgetown) on Friday from 6:00 - 8:00pm. Funeral Mass was held at St. John Brebeuf Catholic Church (24 Millwood Rd. Erin) on Saturday November 12th, 2022 at 10:00am. Reception was held at the Royal Canadian Legion  Br. 442 (12 Dundas St E, Erin). Interment did follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery in Woodbridge.
