RADCLIFFE, Charles Rex Eric

1936 – 2023 Eric, of Elora, Ontario, died peacefully on Sunday, June 18, 2023 at Groves Memorial Community Hospital in Fergus, Ontario at the age of 86. He will be lovingly remembered by Mirdza, his wife of 51 years; their sons Kenneth (Carolyn) of Lexington, Massachusetts and Andrew of Arlington, Virginia; their grandchildren Evelyn, Jacqueline, and George of Lexington, Massachusetts; his daughters Therese and Jane of England; and his granddaughter Leonie of England. Eric was predeceased by his brother Brian (Barbara) of Qualicum Beach, British Columbia. Eric was born in Bralorne, British Columbia and served as a navigator in the Royal Canadian Air Force and CP Air before working as an air traffic controller. He raised his sons together with Mirdza in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, where he proudly graduated from Algoma University College at the age of 52, before retiring to Elora, Ontario in 2001.  Cremation and funeral service took place on Sunday, June 25. A private graveside service will take place at a later date at York Cemetery, North York, Ontario.
