RCMP to bring Musical Ride to IPM
The RCMP Musical Ride will be a part of the 2016 International Plowing Match and Rural Expo here in September.
IPM 2016 committee chair Ron Faulkner officially announced the ride will be part of the match during the April 19 Minto council meeting.
Faulkner said the Musical Ride will be staged on three days during the match, which will be held Sept. 20 to 24 on the farm of Anne and Earl Schneider south of Harriston.
The RCMP Musical Ride consists of 32 riders and their horses performing intricate figures and drills to music.
