Reconstruction of Whites Road expected to continue to end of October

White’s Road project – Reconstruction of Whites Road (Wellington Road 5) between Main Street East and Lett Street continues in Palmerston. Construction on the joint Town of Minto/County of Wellington project commenced the week of July 4 and is expected to continue to end of October. Whites Road is closed to through traffic during the construction period.

County officials note local access will be interrupted at various times during this period but access to Palmerston and District Hospital will be maintained. Hospital access will be indicated along the detour route. A portion of Dufferin Street between White’s Road and Brunswick Street is also under construction.
