Registration open for free Summertime International Languages Program
GUELPH – Students in Kindergarten through Grade 8 can register for free language lessons in Guelph this summer.
Languages offered include Arabic, Chinese-Mandarin, Gujarati, Hungarian, Italian, Polish, Punjabi, Spanish and Tigrinya.
“If you are interested in a language not listed, please email coned@wellingtoncdsb.ca,” officials state.
The lessons will take place at a Wellington Catholic District School Board school yet to be announced, but students from any school board in Ontario are eligible to attend.
The program starts on July 2 and runs Monday through Friday for three weeks, from 9:30am to 12pm.
The International Languages Elementary Program is funded by the Ministry of Education.
