REINDERS, John

Formerly of Moorefield, entered his eternal rest at Strathcona LTC on January 12, in his 92nd year. Faithful and devoted husband of Randy (Kabbes) (2010) for 53 years. Loving and generous father of Grace and Andy Moes, Jean and Dirk Kramer and JR and Joan Reinders. Grandpa to Natasha and Jacob Chandler, Calvin Moes, Katy Moes, Sean and Raechel Weed, Patrick and Katie Weed, Brian Weed and Jessica Bassett-Spiers, Rachel and Josh Eschlboeck, Nicole and Rob Luymes, Jonathan and Hunter Reinders, Sarah Kramer and Dan Krawczyk, Nick and Christa Kramer, and Derek Kramer and Yesola Kweon. Great Grandpa of 17. Predeceased by son-in-law Ron Weed. Brother of Roeli Slot (Mans) and Bud and Lorna Reinders. Predeceased by siblings Henry and Meintje Reinders, Jean and Lucas Dobben, and Mina and Sam Glazema. Remembered by in-laws Gertie and Ken Hodgson. Predeceased by Jerry and Alice Kabbes, and Fred and Trudy Kabbes. Dad was a faithful believer in Christ, a hard-working farmer and wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Thanks to the staff at Royal Terrace, Palmerston Hospital and most recently Strathcona LTC. We are truly surrounded by angels. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Palmerston Hospital Foundation (MRI Fund) would be appreciated by the family. The family received friends at the Drayton Reformed Church, 74 Wellington Street, Drayton on Wednesday, January 15 from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 7:00 to 9:00pm, where the funeral will be held on Thursday, January 16 at 2:00pm, with visitation one hour before. Spring interment Bethesda Cemetery, Moorefield. Arrangements entrusted to the Heritage Funeral Home, Drayton.
