Residents slurp up soup at Sensational Elora competition

CENTRE WELLINGTON – People flocked to the Wellington County Museum and Archives on Oct. 9 to taste 10 different offerings at the Sensational Soup Off. Organized by Sensational Elora, the event included soups such as squash and apple coconut, smoked tomato, hot and sour soup, and Italian Thanksgiving. BELOW LEFT: Bowls were donated by local potters to raise money for the Centre Wellington Food Bank and cooking classes at a local high school. Far left is Sensational Elora chair Kirk McElwain.
