Revamped PitchIt! Minto contest now open to entrepreneurs

MINTO – The PitchIt! Minto Business Plan Competition started in 2012 to grow small businesses in Minto and increase awareness of the resources available.

The Town of Minto, in partnership with LaunchIt Business Exploration Centre and numerous sponsors are proud to continue to host PitchIt! 3.0.

A press release from the town states the competition has been freshened up and instead of a business plan, participants will be asked to submit a business model canvas (BMC).

A BMC is a single-page template and entrepreneurial tool used to help describe, design, challenge, invent, and pivot  a business model. Participants will be trained and coached on the BMC as part of the program.

The competition is geared towards entrepreneurs that wish to expand or purchase an existing business, open a new business, or re-locate a business within the Town of Minto.

$20,000 in prizes

There will be prizes for the winner and all finalists, as well as a pool of prizes that can be customized based on the needs of the businesses.

Over $20,000 in prizes will be awarded in the revamped 2024 PitchIt! Business Competition.
