Of Arthur passed away peacefully at Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus on Wednesday, February 8, 2023. Beloved husband of Beverley (Colwill) Ridsdale for 42 years. Dear father of Shawn and Jenny Ridsdale of Tiny and Chris and Carrie Ridsdale of Niagara Falls. Loving grandfather of Tyler, the late Addison, Brady, Nolan, Isabella and Ethan. Brother of Dorothy Reid of Mount Forest. Brother-in-law of Pearl and Wayne Horton, Carl and Doreen Colwill, Keith and Angie Colwill. Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents Roy and Ellen Ridsdale. The family received friends at the Crawford Funeral Chapel, 243 George Street, Arthur on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00pm. A memorial service of remembrance was held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at 2:00pm. Spring interment in Greenfield Cemetery, Arthur. As expressions of sympathy donations to Sick Kids Foundation Toronto or the Make a Wish Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
