Robert Stubbing to talk about a ‘Century of Courage’ in lead up to Remembrance Day

FERGUS – Fergus Legion member Robert Stubbing will give a reflective talk about war and the courage of soldiers on Oct. 29.

His talk, “A Century of Courage: The Canadian Soldier 1914-2014,” will include the two World Wars, as well as Korea and Afghanistan.

“I plan to speak to the challenges faced by our soldiers in battle and the courage it took to stay in the fight,” Stubbing states in an email.

The event takes place  on Oct. 29 from 8 to 9pm at the Fergus Legion (500 Blair St.).

The doors open at 7:30pm, admission is free, and everyone is welcome.
