ROCKWOOD - The Rockwood Farmers’ Santa Claus Parade of Lights is set for Dec. 13.

Each float will be farm related and the parade features  thousands of Christmas lights, garland, ribbons, bows, fully decorated Christmas trees and everything else expected of a Santa Claus parade.

The parade will begin at 7pm on the Fifth Line (Wellington Road 27 or Main Street in Rockwood) just north of the village limits.

The parade will proceed south to the stop light and then turn west and travel towards Guelph on Highway 7.

The parade will then turn north on the Fourth Line of Guelph-Eramosa.

In order to see the parade in Rockwood, organizers suggest arriving early.

“The village fills up quickly so it might be wise to give yourself lots of time,” they say.

“You may wish to arrive early to enjoy a festive meal.

“Many of the shops are open before and after the parade for your last minute Christmas shopping.”

Parking is available on the Fourth Line.
