ROWLEY, William Vernon “Bill”

Of Rosemont, formerly of Conn, passed away unexpectedly at Waterloo Regional Health Network on Sunday, April 27, 2025 at the age of 78. Beloved husband of the late Sarah Alice “Sally” (née Grosbeck) Rowley (who predeceased him exactly 20 years ago this week). Loved father of Lisa (Peter) Keller of Mount Forest, Floyd (Diana) of Rosemont, Rodney of Rosemont, and Jason (Michelle) of Mount Forest. Dear grandfather of Shayla, Aylee, Grace (Cameron), Jadyn, Madison (Noah), Kaden, Jacob, and Mya. Bill will be missed by his siblings Jean (late Bill) Longland, late Raymond (Edith), late Elwood (late Jackie), Norma Gardner, Lorna (Hank) Dikken, the late infant sister Donna, and by his dear friend Mildred Peterson, sister-in-law late Helen McGovern (late Mike), brothers-in-law Frank Grosbeck, late Maurice, and late Fergus Grosbeck, many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Mervin and Muriel Rowley. Bill was a proud farmer, livestock trucker, and member of the Brayford Sod Farms team for many years. He was a true friend to all in the agricultural community. Visitation will be held at the England Funeral Home, 294 Main Street South, Mount Forest, on Friday, May 2nd from 6:00 – 9:00pm. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at 1:00pm with visitation from 12:00 – 12:45pm. Interment at Mount Forest Cemetery.
