ROWSELL, Michael Wilxox
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Wilcox Rowsell on May 20, 2025 at Groves Memorial Community Hospital in Fergus after a long battle with numerous health challenges. He was born on April 20, 1964 in Sudbury, ON to parents Robert and Thelma Rowsell. Mike was predeceased by his loving partner and best friend Ross Paulitzki and his father Robert Rowsell. He has left huge holes in the hearts of his mother Thelma and older brothers Robert (Cathy) of Orleans, ON, John of Margate, FL, and David (Val) of Elora, ON. Remembered with great fondness by his nieces and nephews Jeff, Chris, Matt, Leslie, Erin, Rebekah and Sarah and their families. He is also survived by his mother-in-law Betty and will be missed by the Paulitzki family. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2025 at St. John’s Anglican Church, Elora at 2:00pm with a reception to follow. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations made to St. John’s Anglican Church - Building Fund or the Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth would be appreciated by Mike’s family.
