SAUNDERS- DUMAS, Mary-Ellen

In her 65th year of life an angel gained her wings. Mary- Ellen passed away in her home on Woodside St surrounded by her family. Loving wife of Larry Dumas and mother of Skylar (Michelle) Dumas. She was predeceased by her Mother Eleanor Saunders (nee Gale) (2014) and her Father, James Saunders (1989). She leaves behind her siblings, Vanessa (Ron) Wallace, Eric (Karla Pearce) Saunders, Martin Saunders, and Paul (Trynne Leveque) Saunders. Mary-Ellen lived a full life; full of personality and joy. She was a bright light to everyone she touched. She was fearless, bubbly, and she marched to the beat of her own drum. Many will remember Mary-Ellen as the Crossing Guard at J.D. Hogarth for the past 10 years, or as a smiling face around town. To those closest to her, she will be remembered as an amazing wife, mother, sister and friend. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made in Mary-Ellen’s honour to Groves Memorial Community Hospital.
