Mary Elizabeth (Mitchell) Schmidt of Waterloo passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 6, 2025, in her 84th year. Wife of the late Otto Schmidt.  Sister of Janice Cole & Ted Bull of Listowel, and sister-in-law of John Murison of Rockwood. Niece of Jim Richardson of Harriston, and Robert & Nancy Richardson of Elora, and remembered also by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Predeceased by her sister Jane Murison, and brother-in-law Art Cole. A graveside funeral service will be held at Derryadd Cemetery, Mapleton Township, on Monday, June 30, 2025 at 11:00am with Rev. Ralph Dwarika officiating. All are welcome to join the family at Parkview Gardens (Listowel Legion) following the service for a continued time of sharing and luncheon, beginning at 1:00pm.
