SEDC funding positions to assist businesses

MINTO – Saugeen Economic Development Corporation is funding two positions to assist businesses in northern Wellington.

Business development coordinator Somer Antonopoulos reported at the Jan. 14 Minto economic development and planning committee meeting that Jeremy Tessier is the new digital marketing coach and has met with nine businesses so far. In addition, small business advisor Harold DeVries continues to offer support and guidance for businesses looking to start, grow or change.

Interested businesses need to visit sbdc.ca and apply to the Business Resurgence Program.

Minutes of the meeting also note Ashley Noble of the local Digital Service Squad is still very active offering help to northern Wellington businesses.

Noble has met with over 130 businesses and will be available until April.
