MINTO – A newly-formed Minto Makers’ Market committee is hosting a series of markets help promote local “homepreneurs” (home-based businesses).

The markets are designed to help vendors from Minto and surrounding areas connect with the community to sell their products.

Markets will be held on three Saturdays this fall, from 9am to 2pm:

  • Sept. 26 at the Palmerston Community Centre;
  • Oct. 3 at the Harriston Community Centre; and
  • Oct. 17 at the Clifford Community Hall.

Organizers have allotted 16 vendors per market with all spaces filled at this point.

Participants will be practicing physical distancing, wearing masks, sanitizing at the door, taking names/info from shoppers and offering door prizes, notes Minto marketing and community development coordinator Taylor Kuenen.

The Minto Makers’ Market Committee is a joint sub-committee of Minto downtown organizations Clifford Connects, Harriston Rising and All Aboard Palmerston, with local maker representatives from Clifford, Harriston, Palmerston, Minto township, and Town of Minto staff support.
