Shop with a Cop
On Oct. 21, Grade 8 students from J.D. Hogarth Public School took part in “Shop with a Cop” at the Fergus Zehrs. Student teams, aided by OPP officers and local firefighters, scoured store shelves to support the Centre Wellington Food Bank. The Fergus branch of Meridian Credit Union donated $1,000 for the students to purchase the food. Students were responsible for figuring out the total cost, including taxes, before cashing out.
