ORANGEVILLE – Public health officials say there is "a significant amount" of appointments available for a Saturday clinic for those looking to receive the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine.

The clinic, which runs from 9am to 4pm at the Alder Recreation Centre in Orangeville, is available to anyone at least 18 years old in the Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health (WDGPH) region who has already pre-registered with public health and received a booking code.

"To book one of these appointments, use the link provided in your email or text invitation," WDGPH spokesperson Danny Williamson stated in a June 18 email.

"If you already booked an appointment but would like to reschedule it to this day and location, please use the 'appointment details' button in your confirmation email to cancel your existing appointment and re-book."
