SMART, Helen Aileen
Passed away peacefully and surrounded by her family at the Louise Marshall Hospital on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at the age of 93. Predeceased by her beloved husband, William “Bill” Smart (1986). Loving mother of Donna Shaw of Mount Forest, Barry Coutts and his wife Kara of Nova Scotia, and Ken Smart and his wife Marg of Conn; and mother-in-law of Eileen Coutts of Listowel. Remembered by her eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and their families. Survived by her sister-in-law Joan Wooder of P.E.I. Predeceased by her cherished sons, Wayne Coutts and Rob Smart; siblings: Eleanor Bennett and her husband George, and Frank Wooder. A memorial service will be held at the England Funeral Home, 294 Main Street South, Mount Forest, on Friday, September 23, 2022 at 11:00am, with visitation from 10:00-10:45am. Private family interment at Greenfield Cemetery, Arthur.
