MINTO – The final version of the Harrison Flood Mitigation Study will be presented to council here on Jan. 26.

Minto CAO Derek Thompson told council staff is ready to present the report, which runs over 600 pages and was about 12 months in the making.

“It’s quite an extensive report,” said Thomson.

He suggested council hold a special meeting where the report will be presented for information and feedback.

After factoring in council input, a report including recommendations will be presented at a future meeting.

Council agreed to hold the special meeting on Jan. 26 at 7pm.

All council meetings are currently being held remotely.

Details regarding how members of the public can access the meeting will be published with the agendas on the town website.

The public can also watch the recorded meetings on the Minto Youtube channel.
