Spindrift next concert in Gallery Concert Series
ABOYNE – The next Gallery Concert in the series, to be held Feb. 23, will be Spindrift, a wind quartet that started as an online group.
The quartet maintains its online presence but enjoys live performances as well.
Their music spans three centuries, from the baroque style to 20th century dance music, Bach and Bernstein.
The various members of Spindrift can be found playing in many local orchestras such as the Wellington Winds and the Waterloo Chamber Players.
But they find the energy of a quartet truly rewarding, officials state in a press release.
The concert will be held at the Wellington County Museum and Archives on Feb. 23 at 2pm.
Admission at the door is $15. There will be refreshments post-concert and an opportunity to meet the musicians.
