FERGUS – Oct. 14 marks the date when St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church will be hosting its annual 5km race, a fundraiser it has been hosting for 20 years.

St. Andrew’s has the privilege of having a relationship with Haitian communities, and has been supporting four schools, their teachers and upwards of 2,000 students.

The race is one of the biggest fundraisers of the year, with 100 per cent of raised funds used to enrol children of Haiti into school programs.

This event allows the community to reach out and help another.

Run or walk, the race will be timed and there will be prizes.

Arrive between 8 and 9am at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Fergus to register.

The race starts at 9:30am, followed by a free brunch.

No registration fee is required, but participants are encouraged to raise donations.
