Successful year for U15 Arthur Twisters
ARTHUR – The Arthur Twisters U15 Provincial Women’s Softball Association team capped off a successful season this past weekend in Windsor at the Grand Championships (“A” Division).
“The team had many big achievements throughout their season,” officials stated.
“The small squad showed lots of grit and determination against large centres throughout Ontario.”
This year’s highlights include:
- gold at the Waterloo Invitational;
- silver at the Pan Jam tournament in Ajax;
- fourth place at the Stratford Summer Sizzler;
- Grand Valley Softball League Finalists in the Tier 1 Division; and
- qualified for the Championship round at the Grand Championships “A” Division.
This team will be moving to the U17 Division next year.
