Team Addy Family Fun Day raises funds for cancer research
FERGUS – Fun and games, music, a basketball tournament and more were part of the Team Addy Family Fun Day at Centre Wellington District High School on July 13. A fundraiser for cancer research at Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto, the event is held annually in honour of Addison Hill, a local teen who died of a rare form of cancer. Hill died the day after the inaugural event in 2022, but her family continues the tradition in her memory. The total amount raised at the event was not known by press time.
