White and Grigg will cover the importance of soil health, the local initiatives for soil health solutions, environmental implications of synthetic versus organic fertilizer, the role of microorganisms and how climate change affects soil health.

“Whether you’re a soil enthusiast, want to learn more about soil initiatives or simply curious about how our environment affects soil, this event is one that you don’t want to miss,” officials state.
