TUPLING, Robert Joseph

Robert (Bob) Joseph Tupling passed away peacefully at Groves Memorial Hospital in Fergus on January 24, 2025 just three weeks prior to his 94th Birthday, leaving behind his loving partner, Elaine Wood. He was the Father of four sons, Daniel, Richard, David and Ronald (deceased), Grandfather to Nicholas, Collin, Melanie, Jessica and Abby and great Grandfather of three. He was an employee of LaFrance Textiles until their closing but continued in the textile field by becoming an independent fabric Sales Rep in Ontario and Quebec, selling fabrics to furniture manufacturers until his retirement. As an avid fisherman all his life, he had the pleasure of fishing in many parts of Canada as well as abroad. Locally, he was a member of Friends of the Grand River, a fishing group, for a number of years. To honour Bob’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no visitation or service is planned. Arrangements entrusted to the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, Fergus. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Bob are asked to consider the Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
