Upcoming road work in Wellington County

GUELPH/ERAMOSA – Jarlian Construction Inc. is working to rehabilitate a bridge located on Victoria Road North (Wellington Road 38) south of Highway 6 and spanning over the Speed River at the border between the Township of Guelph/Eramosa and the City of Guelph. There will be a road closure from July 28 to /about Sept. 1. A detour route is posted, taking vehicles around the project site.

County roads staff will be replacing a culvert on Wellington Rd. 22, between 5th Line and Wellington Rd. 24, in the Town of Erin. Work will begin on Aug. 5 and is anticipated to be completed by the end of September. The road will be closed, with no emergency services access, starting Aug. 18 for approximately four weeks. During the closure, traffic will be re-routed per the attached detour route. For the duration of the project, delays are expected and an alternate route is recommended.
