WDGPH expands mask order, issues new order for driving lessons/exams
WELLINGTON COUNTY – Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health (WDGPH) has expanded its mandatory mask order to include common areas of multi-unit dwellings and staff-only areas of businesses.
"As cases of COVID-19 variants of concern continue to grow across the province, [WDGPH] is exploring all measures to keep cases low and the region as open as possible," states a March 12 press release from public health.

The existing Section 22 Class Order, initially issued last June and altered in July and September, has been amended to include common areas of multi-unit dwellings and temporary lodgings, as well as staff-only areas of commercial establishments.
A new Section 22 Class Order has also been issued to owners and operators of driver instruction/examination vehicles to require face coverings, eye protection and screening.
Both orders, which take effect on March 15, are available on the WDGPH website.
