WELLINGTON COUNTY – On May 28, the Municipal Waste Association recognized Wellington County’s Solid Waste Services (SWS) with two Promotion and Education (P&E) Awards at its annual Spring Workshop: Silver in the Print Tool Category for the Spring/Summer 2024 Newsletter and Silver in the Campaign Category, for municipalities under 50,000 households, for the Minimum Waste Fee campaign. The awards were presented during a June 26 council meeting.
