Wellington North council paid $113,000 in 2018

KENILWORTH -  Wellington North council was paid over $113,513 in remuneration and expenses last year. That is up 5% or $5,500 over $108,000 in remuneration and expenses in 2017. Council accepted the report without discussion on Feb. 27.

Mayor Andy Lennox received $27,000 in per diem pay plus $1,069 in benefits, $1,978 for conventions and seminars, $616 for telephone and internet, and $955 in travel expenses, for a total of $31,618.

Councillor Sherry Burke received $17,000 in per diem pay plus $609 in benefits, $1,096 for conventions and seminars, $1,099 for telephone and internet, and $720 in travel expenses, for a total of $20,524.

Councillor Lisa Hern received $17,000 in per diem pay plus $609 in benefits, $1,109 for conventions and seminars, $1,533 for telephone and internet, and $720 in travel expenses, for a total of $20,971.

Councillor Steve McCabe received $17,000 in per diem pay plus $609 in benefits, $254 for conventions and seminars, $1,579 for telephone and internet, and $720 in travel expenses for a total of $20,162.

Councillor Dan Yake received $17,000 in per diem pay plus $609 in benefits, $97 for conventions and seminars, $1,812 for telephone and internet, and $720 in travel expenses, for a total of $20,238.
