Wellington Road 12 section to be closed for culvert work

MAPLETON - A section of Wellington Road 12 here will be closed temporarily due to a Wellington County culvert replacement project.

Construction will begin on June 13 on the culvert located on Wellington Road 12 between 8th Line and Wellington Road 8 in Mapleton. The work will be performed by Cox Construction Ltd. of Guelph.

County Roads manager Joe de Koning states Wellington Road 12 will be closed to through traffic at the culvert location until June 24.

During the closure, traffic will be re-routed utilizing detours on Wellington Roads 8, 11 and 45.
