MOUNT FOREST – Wellington Heights Secondary School in Mount Forest celebrated its Class of 2024 students at their commencement ceremony on June 14 in the school cafetorium.

Approximately 600 people were in attendance for two ceremonies at 6pm and 7:30pm.

In addition to a celebratory ceremony, there were refreshments and photo booths available in the school gymnasium for graduates and their families to enjoy.

The valedictorian was Brooke Hartley, who gave a speech that summarized the students’ experiences during the past four years at Wellington Heights.

Students were also recognized for their accomplishments both inside and outside of the classroom through a variety of awards, some of which were presented by guests from the local community.
