With deep sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Eric J. Wigmore on April 7th, 2025. Eric was the embodiment of positivity and kindness. At the age of 96, Eric had a life well lived. Most importantly, he will be dearly missed by his wife of 38 years, Ruth. They took such great care of each other as they enjoyed travelling the world, golfing and spending time with family. Eric was a loving father to Stephen Wigmore (Lorraine) and Mary Wigmore. Wonderful stepdad to Sandra Tierney (Paul) and Laurel Strongman (Reid). He was the best Grandpa to Matthew Wigmore, Evan Wigmore, Spencer Tierney (Maddie), Duncan Tierney (Madison) and Keaton Strongman. Eric was the sweetest Great Grandpa to Hannah Tierney. The funeral service will be held at The Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home in Fergus, on Sunday April 13, 2025 at 2:30pm. Reception to follow. The service will be live streamed.
