WILTON, Marjorie Irene (nee Shepherd)
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marge Wilton on March 6, 2024 in her 90th year. Predeceased by her husband, Cameron (2021), brother George Shepherd (2015), and infant brother James Shepherd. She is survived by her brother Fred Shepherd. Marge leaves behind her son Jeff Wilton (Cathy), daughter Tracey Rider (Joe), grandchildren Kelly Wilton (Rob), Katy Wilton (Dustin), Lindsay Rider, Michael Rider (Alexa), and Jeff Rider. Marge was the proud great-grandmother of Theodore, Vivienne, Bronwyn, Emme, Peyton, Sophia, Hannah, and Jacob. Marge will be missed by many nieces and nephews and friends. She will be remembered for her love of a good card game, Elora history, antiques, and many winters in Florida. Special thanks to the staff and caregivers at Heritage River Retirement Home, as well as the exceptional care she received at Groves Memorial Hospital. Cremation has taken place and a family funeral service will take place at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Wall-Custance Funeral Home & Chapel (519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com). As an expression of sympathy, donations can be made to Groves Memorial Hospital Foundation. A tree will be planted in memory of Marjorie I. Wilton in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest.
