Woman tried to poke couple with needle at transit terminal

GUELPH – Police are investigating after a man reported that a stranger attempted to poke him and his girlfriend with a needle.

Just before 5pm on Oct. 24, the complainant called 911 to report a woman at the downtown transit terminal began yelling at him and his girlfriend and tried to poke them. No physical injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as white, mid-30s and short with a small build. She was wearing a pink sweater around her shoulders, a white sweater around her waist, grey track pants and a beany-style hat.
