FERGUS – The Upper Grand District School Board held its second annual board-wide Battle of the Brushes event on April 3 at Centre Wellington District High School (CWDHS), during which students had 20 minutes to paint something of their choosing without using anything as a reference. Attendees voted for their favourite paintings to select the winner, and John F. Ross student Vanessa Van Wyk won the competition.
